Meet the Sunny Coast Aquatic Therapy Team

Alwyn Blayse CEO and Principal Aquatic Physiotherapist

Alwyn has been practicing Aquatic Physiotherapy (Hydrotherapy) for over 22 years. He graduated in 1999 and completed post-graduate courses in aquatic physiotherapy before working fulltime in hydrotherapy for 7 years. He is a member of the Aquatic special interest group of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and its newsletter editor. He has run training sessions for many physiotherapists on aquatic physiotherapy. He has written a book on hydrotherapy, and also designed pools.

He started a regional company AAC -Allied aged care in 2015 to assist older people in regional areas, and is still its CEO. He has now also started a new hydrotherapy service on the Sunshine Coast. Alwyn is passionate about the benefits of hydrotherapy for many clients who find it easier to move in water.

Alwyn is #actuallyautistic and lives with his beautiful neurodiverse family and animals on the Sunshine Coast.
